Instructions for use of a wax or oil burner: 

Sprinkle a few drops of scented oil in the dish and add a little water. 

If you are using wax melts, put a little bit of the wax in the dish and let it melt.

Do not let the mixture evaporate completely to avoid burn marks on the oil burner.
